Living with addiction
I approached Davina’s Ark for help as the effect of alcoholism in our family became overwhelming, until that point I kept trying to convince myself that I could work things out on my own. It took a lot of courage to ask for help but when I got there, I realised I had discovered a place where I could share in an atmosphere of trust.
The support I have received has been a blessing and I feel I have learned so much about addiction and its effects. Davina’s Ark is an invaluableservice to families struggling to deal with addiction; for me personally it was a shining light when I felt at my lowest point.
With the support I have received I feel stronger and have begun to make positive changes in my family life.
