Changes due to COVID-19
Davina’s Ark, after having taken advice from the PHA guidelines, on Monday 16th March 2020 put in place appropriate measures, to ensure the safety and continuity of our counselling/support services, to meet the needs of our service users.
In line with further advice from the PHA. On Monday 23rd March 2020, we adopted a ‘closed door’ policy and commenced working remotely. We will continue to do so until government advice changes.
We are currently using phone based and other digital methods to carry out our counselling/support services. It is crucial that we try to keep our services open and available at this time, not only for our clients but also to give additional support for anyone who may experience any form of psychological trauma, this may include, severe anxiety or major concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic over the coming weeks.
